Many students misunderstood that working in an insurance firm = working as an retail insurance sales. LEAD program is a REAL MT program offered by Manulife allowing you to rotate to product development, product marketing, strategy team, data analytic and digital team...etc. The salary package is very decent (~28K) and you may even have international rotation and it is easy to get 50K+ salary with 3 months' bonus in 3-4 years. Also very possible to transfer to other FIs (including insurance firms/ AM firms/ banks) in future.
